Cloud Engineer – CI/CD & DevOps Contractor

About the role

We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to join a leading global IT services and consulting firm on a contract basis. The role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated infrastructure to support fast‑moving development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI or similar tools.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Terraform, Ansible or equivalent.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production and staging issues, and ensure reliability.
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployments and integrations.
• Apply security best practices across infrastructure and deployment processes.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong background working on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Solid understanding of Git version control and branching strategies.
