About the role
We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to provide technical support, system administration, and cloud operations for our AWS and Azure environments. The role involves monitoring infrastructure, handling incidents, and developing basic automation scripts.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor cloud infrastructure, alerts, dashboards, and ticketing systems to identify and resolve incidents.
- Provide L1 support for AWS and Azure, including incident triage, troubleshooting, escalation, and resolution.
- Perform system administration tasks such as user management, access control, patching, backups, and server health monitoring.
- Coordinate incidents with Infrastructure and Development teams while ensuring SLA compliance.
- Support cloud deployments, maintenance activities, and operational changes.
- Develop and maintain basic automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Create and update SOPs, runbooks, and technical documentation.
- Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to monitoring, automation, and operational processes.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in Cloud Support, Technical Support, or System Administration.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure.
- Good knowledge of Windows/Linux administration and networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, VPN).
- Experience with monitoring and ticketing tools such as CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, ServiceNow, or Jira.
- AWS or Azure certifications are a plus.
