CMS Monitoring Officer

About the role
The CMS Monitoring Officer works in a 24/7/365 operations centre to ensure continuous protection of client assets. You will be the first line of response when alarm signals are received, verifying incidents and coordinating rapid action.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor incoming signals from alarm systems such as door, motion and smoke detectors.
- Follow established protocols to assess the validity of each alert.
- Initiate emergency response procedures, including notifying police, fire services or medical response teams.
- Maintain accurate incident logs and handover reports for each shift.
- Ensure the monitoring centre remains fully staffed and operational at all times.

- Strong problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and active listening skills.
- Patience, tenacity and adaptability in high‑stress situations.
