CNIC Designer

About the role

This position involves designing and developing Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) layouts in line with national standards and regulations. The designer works closely with government representatives and stakeholders to understand their needs, produces approved prototypes and provides technical guidance on CNIC design.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop CNIC layouts in compliance with national standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with government representatives and stakeholders to understand design requirements.
• Create prototypes and mock-ups for stakeholder approval.
• Use design software to create and modify CNIC graphics, layouts and content.
• Evaluate and ensure the accuracy, quality and functionality of the designs.
• Stay up to date with design software and technology trends.
• Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders.
• Assist in documenting design specifications and processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts or a related field.
• Proven experience (3-5 years) in graphic design, specifically in secure document or identity card design.
• Familiarity with document security features and technologies.
• Experience in a government or secure document production environment is a plus.
• Knowledge of national standards and regulations on identity card design.

Required skills

• Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to work on site.
