Embroidery Designer (Wilcom)

About the role

AFZAAL, a Lahore-based company producing high-quality embroidered apparel and textile products, is hiring a full-time, on-site Embroidery Designer (Wilcom). The designer creates and digitizes embroidery designs with Wilcom software so that patterns are accurate, efficient and suitable for production.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret design briefs and select stitches, colors and textures.
• Test samples and adjust designs to match fabric and garment requirements.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure proper fitting and alignment on garments.
• Troubleshoot design or machine-related issues.
• Maintain organized design files and documentation.
• Contribute creative ideas for new collections and stay up to date on industry trends, textile types and fashion aesthetics.

Required profile

• Ability to work on-site in Lahore and collaborate with production, quality and design teams.
• Prior experience in embroidery design or apparel manufacturing is preferred.
• Attention to detail, good color sense and visual accuracy.

Required skills

• Strong embroidery and Wilcom digitizing skills, able to turn artwork into production-ready files.
• Knowledge of fashion design and trends, and understanding of fitting and garment construction.
• Experience with textiles and how different fabrics affect embroidery techniques.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with design software; Wilcom certification or training is an advantage.
