Cold Chef

About the role

Safa Fitness Club is looking for a passionate Cold Chef to join its Nutrition Bar team in Islamabad. The role focuses on preparing a variety of healthy cold dishes and beverages while upholding the club’s high standards of quality, hygiene and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present cold items such as salads, sandwiches, wraps, fruit bowls, smoothies, juices and healthy snacks.
• Follow approved recipes and quality standards for every product.
• Maintain strict cleanliness and hygiene in the nutrition bar area.
• Monitor inventory, assist with stock management and procurement.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling and handling in line with food‑safety regulations.
• Minimise waste and apply cost‑effective preparation practices.
• Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings.
• Adhere to all health, safety and club operational policies.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in preparing cold appetizers, salads, dressings and other chilled dishes.
• Experience in menu planning, portion control and inventory management.
• Strong knowledge of food storage techniques and hygiene/safety regulations.
• Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented kitchen environment.
• Creative eye for food presentation and detail‑oriented approach.
• Culinary training or certification is a plus.
• Previous experience in a fitness club, wellness centre or similar setting is advantageous.
