Cold Chef – Nutrition Bar

About the role

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Cold Chef to join our Nutrition Bar team at Safa Fitness Club. You will create fresh, healthy, and visually appealing cold meals that support our members’ wellness journeys.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present a variety of cold food items including salads, sandwiches, wraps, fruit bowls, smoothies, juices, and healthy snacks.
• Follow approved recipes and maintain consistent high standards of taste, quality, and presentation.
• Uphold strict cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards in the Nutrition Bar.
• Monitor inventory levels, manage stock, and assist with procurement to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of all food items in line with food safety regulations.
• Minimize food wastage while practicing cost‑effective preparation methods.
• Collaborate with the management team to develop new healthy menu items and seasonal offerings.
• Comply with all health, safety, and club operational policies.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in preparing cold appetizers, salads, dressings, and chilled dishes.
• Strong skills in menu planning, portion control, and inventory management.
• Solid knowledge of food storage techniques and hygiene & safety regulations.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented kitchen environment.
• Creativity and strong attention to detail in food presentation.
• Passion for health‑conscious, high‑quality cuisine.
• Culinary training or certification is a plus.
• Previous experience in a fitness club, wellness center, café, or hotel kitchen is highly advantageous.
