Commercial Finance Manager – FMCG Industry

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Commercial Finance Manager to lead financial performance and optimise trade spend for a leading FMCG/Food & Beverage client. The role works closely with commercial, sales and operational teams to align financial objectives with business growth strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control trade spend, discounts and promotional investments, evaluating ROI and recommending improvements.
• Analyse profitability across Retail, HoReCa and Modern Trade channels, including SKU‑level and channel‑level margins.
• Support pricing strategy, margin optimisation and conduct profitability analysis.
• Review distributor agreements, contracts and incentive structures to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
• Prepare reports on sales, margins and profitability, delivering insights on pricing, market trends and competition.
• Build financial models and dashboards to support budgeting, forecasting and scenario analysis.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance to align commercial decisions with financial objectives.

Required profile

• BBA/MBA (Finance) or ACCA qualification.
• 7+ years of experience in commercial finance, financial controlling or business analysis.
• Prior experience in the FMCG or Food & Beverage industry is mandatory.
• Strong expertise in trade‑spend management and promotion analysis.
• Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills.
• Experience working in the Karachi market is preferred.
