Commercial Sales Analyst – International Markets

About the role

The Commercial Sales Analyst will own international commercial analytics and provide data‑driven sales support across National Foods' global markets. Reporting to the Head of International Sales, the analyst will turn secondary sales and category data into actionable insights for Business Development Managers (BDMs) and help manage trade claims, budgets, and regional P&L performance.

Key responsibilities

• Enhance and maintain secondary sales dashboards, analysing monthly sales and inventory data to recommend actions such as mitigating short‑life stock or capitalising on over‑performance.
• Collaborate with BDMs to meet monthly order targets while monitoring trade expenditure, offers, and product mix.
• Develop joint distributor business plans based on KPIs and sales‑distribution strategies, ensuring timely reviews.
• Support sales forecasting, budgeting, and resource allocation aligned with secondary sales demand.
• Manage promotional claims by verifying market activation proof before approving distributor requests.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations on sales performance, market trends, and P&L development for senior leadership.
• Assist the Sales Leadership Team in the annual budgeting process and keep distribution costs within agreed targets.

Required profile

• Graduate degree (any discipline).
• 4‑6 years of relevant experience in commercial analytics, sales performance analysis, or related functions.
