Communication Officer (Social & Digital) – Punjab Family Planning Program

About the role

The Punjab Family Planning Program (PFPP), a World Bank‑funded initiative under the Government of Punjab’s Sehat & Abadi Department, is recruiting qualified professionals on a contract basis. Two positions are open: a Communication Officer (Social & Digital) and a Social and Gender Officer. Both roles will support the programme’s objectives of improving family planning services across the province.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement communication strategies to promote PFPP activities through social and digital channels.
• Create, edit and disseminate digital content, including posts, videos and graphics.
• Engage with target audiences, monitor online feedback and adjust messaging accordingly.
• Conduct gender‑sensitive research, analysis and reporting to inform programme interventions.
• Collaborate with project teams, NGOs and stakeholders to ensure alignment of communication and gender initiatives.

Required profile

• Master’s degree from an HEC‑recognized university in Mass Communication, Journalism, Media, Gender Studies, Social Sciences or a related field.
• Minimum three years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in development or World Bank‑funded projects is preferred.
• Female or transgender candidates are encouraged to apply.
