Communication Officer (Social & Digital) – Punjab Family Planning Program

About the role

The Punjab Family Planning Program (PFPP), a World Bank‑funded initiative under the Sehat & Abadi Department, is recruiting qualified professionals on a contract basis. Two positions are open: a Communication Officer (Social & Digital) and a Social and Gender Officer. Both roles support the program’s strategic communication and gender‑sensitive outreach across Punjab.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement communication strategies, including social and digital media campaigns, to promote family planning services.
• Produce content for websites, social platforms, newsletters, and other digital channels.
• Coordinate with project partners, media outlets, and community groups to ensure consistent messaging.
• Conduct gender analysis and integrate gender‑responsive approaches into program activities.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of communication and gender interventions, preparing regular reports for stakeholders.

Required profile

• Master’s degree from an HEC‑recognized university in Mass Communication, Journalism, Media, Gender Studies, Social Sciences, Development or a related field.
• Minimum of three years’ professional experience in the relevant field, preferably within development projects.
• Female or transgender candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
