Compliance Officer – Pakistan

About the role

The Pakistan Compliance Officer partners with the General Manager and senior leaders to embed a strong compliance culture across the business. You will guide the organization in delivering its ambitions sustainably while protecting GSK’s reputation and mitigating risk.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain a compliance programme covering Commercial Practices, Anti‑bribery & Corruption, and Privacy.
• Identify, evaluate and manage risks in line with GSK’s internal control framework.
• Manage internal reporting, escalation, and investigation of compliance concerns.
• Collaborate with Corporate Investigations, HR, Legal, Internal Audit and Compliance Monitoring teams.
• Translate global compliance requirements into local specifications and deliver related training.
• Advise senior leaders on risk associated with new business strategies and recommend mitigation options.
• Ensure internal controls, monitoring, and Key Risk Indicators are effective.
• Support creation and implementation of corrective and preventive actions from audits and investigations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Risk Management, Life Sciences or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in compliance and/or risk management, preferably in pharma.
• Strong knowledge of corporate governance, internal control frameworks and relevant compliance regulations (anti‑bribery, privacy, commercial practices).
• Proven ability to provide pragmatic compliance advice to senior leaders and work with cross‑functional, matrixed teams.
