CompTIA A+ Certified Instructor

About the role

We are seeking a CompTIA A+ Certified Instructor to deliver engaging, hands‑on training that prepares students for entry‑level IT support positions. You will teach both Core 1 (220‑1101) and Core 2 (220‑1102) exam objectives through live lectures, labs, and real‑world troubleshooting scenarios.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver live in‑person or virtual classes covering hardware, networking, operating systems, security, software troubleshooting and operational procedures.
• Create and maintain lesson plans, slide decks, lab exercises and mock exams.
• Design and supervise physical labs (PC assembly, RAM installation) and virtual lab environments (VMs, simulators).
• Demonstrate command‑line tools and systematic troubleshooting methodologies.
• Assess student progress, provide individualized remediation and hold office hours.
• Teach exam‑taking strategies and keep curriculum aligned with the latest CompTIA A+ objectives.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of hands‑on IT support experience (Help Desk, Desktop Support, Field Service, or similar).
• Active CompTIA A+ certification; CompTIA Network+ or Security+ a plus.
• 1–2 years of teaching, training or mentoring experience in a classroom, bootcamp or corporate setting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to beginners.

Required skills

• Windows 10/11 administration
• macOS and Linux basics
• TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and basic networking concepts
• Ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Jira or Zendesk
• Command‑line utilities (ipconfig, chkdsk, sfc, diskpart, etc.)
