Consultant - Training of Service Sector

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) seeks a consultant to design and deliver targeted training and workshops for Pakistan’s service sector. The role focuses on strengthening coordination mechanisms for trafficking in persons (TIP) and smuggling of migrants (SOM) and building capacity in child protection and victim‑interviewing across key ministries and agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Design and facilitate two TIP Coordination Committee workshops to improve oversight, referral and inter‑agency collaboration.
• Develop and deliver six sector‑specific training sessions covering child protection, best‑interest assessments, trauma‑informed interviewing, and return‑counselling based on IOM tools.
• Ensure all training materials align with Pakistan’s National Action Plan (2021‑2025) and IOM standards.
• Provide post‑training technical support and monitor implementation of learned practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience in designing and delivering training programmes in humanitarian or migration contexts.
• Familiarity with TIP, SOM, child protection and trauma‑informed interviewing methodologies.
• Ability to work with government ministries, NGOs and international partners.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
