Credit Analyst – Credit Card Operations

About the role

The Credit Analyst will support the Credit Card Unit of Bank Al‑Habib, handling end‑to‑end processing of credit card transactions and related financial operations. The role involves working with the core banking system to ensure accurate posting, reporting, and resolution of customer issues.

Key responsibilities

• Retrieve and process credit card files in the core banking system.
• Handle customer financial reversal requests on both credit card and core banking platforms.
• Prepare advance tax, service sales tax, and GL details for monthly reporting.
• Post international and local settlement vouchers and respond to branch credit card payments.
• Resolve customer complaints related to credit card financial operations.
• Initiate and manage merchant invoices and reward payments.
• Prepare cross‑border transaction data and credit card spending reports.
• Assist the line manager with month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Generate regular reports on credit card operations, follow‑ups, and identified issues.
• Compile and submit credit card spending data for internal analysis.
• Assist in financial reconciliations and ensure accuracy of GL entries.
• Collaborate with other departments to facilitate smooth settlement processes.
