Customer Support Executive (Medical Billing)

About the role

OctaMD is a medical billing solutions provider that helps healthcare practices optimise their revenue cycle and operations, offering services such as medical coding, claim submission, denial management, A/R follow-up, payment posting, patient scheduling, eligibility and benefits verification, authorisations and charge creation. It is hiring a Junior Customer Support Representative, a full-time, on-site position based in Johar Town, Lahore.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound customer inquiries about medical billing services, account status and service usage, giving timely and accurate responses.
• Resolve issues and guide clients through processes such as claim submissions and scheduling.
• Document interactions in the support system and escalate complex cases to the appropriate internal teams.
• Collaborate with billing, coding and operations teams to investigate and troubleshoot customer concerns, follow up on pending requests and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Demonstrated customer support and customer service skills, with the ability to keep customers satisfied through empathetic, solution-oriented interactions.
• Strong verbal and written communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Troubleshooting skills to identify issues, analyse root causes and coordinate resolutions.
• Previous experience in healthcare, medical billing or a related service environment is beneficial.
• Minimum of a high school diploma; post-secondary education in business, healthcare administration or a related field is a plus.

Required skills

• Comfort using CRM or ticketing systems and basic office software for documentation and follow-up.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple customer requests at once.
