Cybersecurity Specialist – InfoSec & Vulnerability Management

About the role

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to strengthen Vector Solutions’ security posture in a fast‑moving fintech environment. The role focuses on vulnerability management, network security, and the operation of SIEM platforms to detect and mitigate threats.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments across network and application environments.
• Implement, configure, and fine‑tune SIEM solutions such as Splunk Enterprise Security and IBM QRadar, creating custom detection rules.
• Perform penetration testing and intrusion detection activities to simulate attack vectors.
• Analyze threat‑intelligence data and adjust security strategies accordingly.
• Develop and maintain identity and access management policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to embed application security best practices.
• Lead hacker‑proofing initiatives and recommend mitigation controls.
• Design and execute cloud security mechanisms for data and services hosted in cloud environments.
• Monitor and respond to security alerts, ensuring timely incident detection and resolution.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation of security configurations, policies, procedures, and incidents.
