Data Architect – AWS

About the role

We are looking for a senior Data Architect with deep expertise in AWS to define and lead our enterprise data architecture strategy. The role will shape large‑scale data platforms, ensure governance, and align technology with business goals across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the enterprise‑wide data architecture roadmap on AWS.
• Design scalable, secure batch and real‑time data platforms using AWS Glue, EMR (Spark), Lambda, and Airflow (MWAA).
• Build modern data lake, warehouse, and lakehouse solutions with Amazon S3, Redshift, and DynamoDB.
• Establish data modeling standards (Dimensional, Data Vault, Hybrid) and governance frameworks using AWS DataZone.
• Lead architecture governance forums, design reviews, and cost‑optimization initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and security architecture aligned with compliance standards.
• Collaborate with business, analytics, and executive stakeholders to align data strategy with organizational objectives.

Required profile

• 12+ years of experience in data engineering or data architecture.
• Proven track record designing enterprise‑scale data platforms on AWS.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross‑functional leadership skills.
• Experience leading large data engineering teams in Agile/SAFe environments.
