Data Operations Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Data Operations Specialist to support our construction projects by turning complex project information into actionable insights. The role blends data analysis, process improvement, and automation to enhance project delivery for multiple clients.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and deliver data for construction projects across various clients and types.
• Structure, maintain, and report project data aligned with construction schedules and programmes.
• Design and implement Excel‑ and Python‑based tools to automate repetitive tasks and reduce operational risk.
• Collect, validate, aggregate, and analyse data from multiple sources to meet reporting and client requirements.
• Identify operational challenges, develop solutions, and drive implementation from start to finish.
• Create and improve reporting processes, dashboards, and data workflows.
• Support the development of internal tools, systems, and best practices for project delivery.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to launch new products, onboard projects, and refine existing workflows.
• Promote standardisation, automation, and continuous improvement across the business.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture or related field.
• 1‑5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• High attention to data quality, consistency, and accuracy.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including handling large datasets.
• Experience with Python for scripting, automation, and data analysis.
• Familiarity with construction scheduling software and project control processes.
• Ability to build dashboards and data workflows.
