Data Scientist – AI for Finance

About the role

We are looking for a Data Scientist to drive AI‑powered solutions for our fintech vertical. You will apply machine‑learning techniques to credit‑risk assessment, fraud detection and customer‑behaviour modelling, delivering end‑to‑end solutions that create measurable business impact.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy predictive models for credit risk, fraud detection and customer segmentation.
• Perform full‑cycle model work: data extraction, feature engineering, algorithm selection, training, validation and production monitoring.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and data‑engineering teams to integrate models into real‑time scoring pipelines.
• Maintain model performance, conduct drift analysis and implement continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strong statistical background with experience in applied machine learning.
• Proven track record of shipping at least one production scoring model.
• Ability to work independently and communicate results to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• SQL for data manipulation.
• Scikit‑learn library for model building.
• Predictive analytics and statistical modelling.
