Data Warehouse Specialist

About the role

Habib Bank AG Zurich is looking for a Data Warehouse Specialist in Karachi to design, develop and support enterprise data warehouse solutions. The role turns data into structured, reliable and analytics-ready formats so that reporting, business intelligence and data-driven decisions can be made across the bank.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain data warehouse architectures
• Build data models, schemas and ETL processes
• Manage large datasets in MySQL and PostgreSQL
• Ensure data quality, consistency and integrity
• Monitor performance and optimise queries
• Support data refreshes and issue resolution
• Develop reports and dashboards in Power BI
• Collaborate with data and business teams
• Maintain data flow and technical documentation

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (4 years) in Software Engineering, Data Science or Computer Science from a reputable university, with a minimum CGPA of 3.0
• Master's in Data Science or a related field
• 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in data warehousing or data engineering
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Banking or financial services experience is a plus
