Datacenter Engineer

About the role

Inbox Business Technologies is looking for a skilled Datacenter Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support mission‑critical datacenter infrastructure. You will ensure high availability, performance, and security of enterprise systems, networks, and hardware.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day datacenter operations, guaranteeing uptime and reliability.
• Install, configure, and maintain servers, storage systems, and network devices.
• Monitor performance, capacity, and availability; proactively resolve issues.
• Support routing, switching, and firewall configurations in collaboration with network teams.
• Perform hardware troubleshooting, replacement, and lifecycle management.
• Implement backup, disaster‑recovery, and business‑continuity procedures.
• Enforce IT security policies and best practices.
• Maintain accurate documentation of configurations and procedures.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for support and maintenance.
• Participate in on‑call rotations and handle critical incidents.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering.
• 3‑5+ years of experience in datacenter or enterprise infrastructure environments.
• CCNP certification required; CCIE is a strong advantage.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and detail‑oriented mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in high‑availability situations.

Required skills

• Enterprise networking, routing, switching, and network troubleshooting.
• Virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper‑V).
• Storage systems (SAN, NAS) and backup solutions.
• Linux and Windows Server environments.
• ITIL processes and incident management.
• CCNP (mandatory) and CCIE (preferred).
