Datacenter Technician

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Data Centre Technician to support day‑to‑day operations of our data centre in the GCC region. The role focuses on maintaining IT infrastructure, monitoring critical systems, and ensuring high availability of services.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain data centre infrastructure and equipment.
• Install, replace, and troubleshoot hardware components.
• Perform preventive maintenance on servers, racks, power, and cooling systems.
• Monitor environmental conditions to ensure optimal operating standards.
• Assist with hardware installation, structured cabling, and equipment relocation.
• Maintain inventory records and maintenance documentation.
• Report, troubleshoot, and promptly escalate infrastructure issues.
• Follow operational and safety procedures to ensure uninterrupted services.

Required profile

• Diploma in Systems, Electrical Engineering, Cooling Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in data centre operations or a similar role.
• Hands‑on experience with server hardware, rack management, and structured cabling.
• Knowledge of power distribution, UPS systems, cooling infrastructure, and preventive maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
