Deputy Manager Logistics

About the role

SmartEnds Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a Deputy Manager Logistics for its Gulberg, Lahore office. The role manages international logistics routes and coordinates shipments with carriers such as UPS and DHL, and supports the BrighterBins and VisnLine product lines. It is a permanent, full-time, on-site position requiring 3-4 years of experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and streamline international logistics routes, including Vietnam-China-US, Vietnam-China-EU, Belgium-Pakistan and Pakistan-Vietnam routes.
• Coordinate with account managers at UPS, DHL and other logistics providers to manage shipments, resolve issues and ensure timely deliveries.
• Monitor logistics budgets, track shipping expenses and manage logistics-related invoicing.
• Compare freight quotations, evaluate pricing options and identify ways to reduce shipping costs.
• Calculate, verify and track customs duties, taxes and other shipment-related charges.
• Coordinate shipment planning, documentation, dispatch and delivery with internal teams and external providers.
• Identify process improvements to streamline operations and optimise costs.
• Maintain records of shipments, quotations, invoices and expenses, and provide logistics support to both product lines.

Required profile

• 3-4 years of experience in logistics, supply chain operations or international shipping.
• Bachelor's degree minimum.
• Excellent spoken English and strong negotiation, persuasion and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and coordinate with international stakeholders.
• Organised, cost-conscious and able to handle multiple logistics activities at once.

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency; familiarity with Microsoft Excel, CRM systems, spreadsheets and logistics management tools is an advantage.
• Strong organisational, analytical and coordination skills.
