Deputy Test Centre Administrator - IELTS

About the role

IDP is looking for a Deputy Test Centre Administrator for its Pakistan IELTS programme in Karachi. The role provides administrative support to the Pakistan IELTS Manager in line with IELTS regulations and IDP policies, with strict adherence to test security and administration requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver an excellent customer experience for test candidates at every contact point, before, during and after the test, and ensure staff are culturally sensitive
• Help manage the budget for IELTS testing in the region, including revenue and costs such as staff, venue and storage, and provide regular management and financial reports
• Support the IELTS Manager with audits of test centres, adherence to IELTS manuals and PSN policy, and monitoring of contracts and risk/security issues
• Manage test-day operations: prepare venues, brief and supervise invigilators, control test materials, handle queries and incidents, and organise post-exam material handling and marking
• Handle data entry on ORS for test sessions, run the Clerical Marker monitoring programme and manage administrative assistants
• Work on partner working group projects, prepare management reports and review IELTS manuals and promotional material

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Relevant work experience in administration and business support
• Fluent English and strong communication with students, parents, institutions and colleagues
• Planning and organisation skills, sound judgement and integrity
