Design and Application Engineer

About the role

INTECH Automation Intelligence is looking for a Design & Application Engineer to develop and implement hardware for specialized control systems across oil & gas, petrochemical, utilities and renewable energy sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement hardware for Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) and Fire & Gas Systems (FGS).
• Interpret customer specifications such as FRS, P&IDs, C&Es and develop functional design documents.
• Support industrial network architecture and cybersecurity measures including access control and network segmentation.
• Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, FAT/SAT procedures and system manuals.
• Participate in factory acceptance testing, site commissioning, startup, troubleshooting and final hand‑over.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
• 2‑4 years of experience in industrial automation and controls hardware design.
• Strong understanding of major industrial standards, instrumentation and control system principles.
• Hands‑on experience with wellhead control panels, skids or solar systems (preferred).
