Design & Application Engineer

About the role

INTECH Automation Intelligence is looking for a Design & Application Engineer to support process automation projects across Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Utilities and Renewable Energy. You will work on hardware design, system integration and field implementation of advanced control solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement hardware for Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) and Fire & Gas Systems (FGS).
• Interpret customer specifications such as FRS, P&IDs, cause‑and‑effect diagrams and develop functional design documents.
• Support industrial network architecture and cybersecurity measures including access control, segmentation and system hardening.
• Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, FAT/SAT procedures and system manuals.
• Participate in factory acceptance testing (FAT), site acceptance testing (SAT), commissioning, troubleshooting and final hand‑over.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in industrial automation and controls, preferably with Yokogawa equipment.
• Proven experience in hardware design for DCS, SIS and FGS.
• Strong understanding of industrial standards, instrumentation and control system principles.
