Destination Manager – USA Study Abroad

About the role

MAQx is seeking a Destination Manager for the United States to join its Islamabad office. You will guide prospective students through the entire study‑abroad journey, from selecting U.S. universities to completing applications and visa procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Advise students on U.S. institutions, programmes, admission requirements and visa processes.
• Conduct one‑on‑one and group counselling sessions, information events and guided campus‑style tours.
• Collaborate with internal counsellors and external partners to ensure seamless application support.
• Track leads, monitor conversions and contribute to marketing and outreach initiatives for the USA destination.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of U.S. higher‑education trends and policies.

Required profile

• Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
• Experience delivering guided tours, presentations or information sessions for groups.
• Proven customer‑service orientation with a focus on student support.
• Background in sales or lead management with a track record of meeting enrollment targets.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Business, Social Sciences) or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of U.S. higher‑education systems, admissions and student‑visa requirements is a plus.
• Ability to work on‑site in Islamabad and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
