DevOps Engineer – Cloud Infrastructure & CI/CD

About the role

RocketDevs is looking for a full‑time remote DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain robust cloud infrastructure for client applications that serve global users. You will work closely with backend, frontend, and AI engineers to deliver secure, high‑performance environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI) for fast, reliable deployments.
• Automate provisioning with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Deploy and orchestrate containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) to ensure high availability.
• Optimize performance, uptime, and cost across staging and production environments.
• Configure secure networking, authentication, and role‑based access control.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and drive long‑term reliability improvements.

Required profile

• Strong experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Hands‑on expertise with Docker and Kubernetes in production.
• Proven track record building CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid knowledge of IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Experience managing Linux servers and networking fundamentals.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Understanding of system security best practices.
• Demonstrated deployed project showcasing production‑ready infrastructure.
