DevOps Engineer – Cloud Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain the cloud infrastructure that powers our applications and services. You will collaborate with development, QA, and IT teams to automate operations, monitor performance, and ensure reliable deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Implement and maintain scalable container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub CI, CircleCI) for automated testing, building, and deployment.
• Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting with Elasticsearch, Kibana, Prometheus, and New Relic.
• Administer and optimise MongoDB instances, including backup and disaster‑recovery strategies.
• Apply security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Automate provisioning and configuration using IaC tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Provide technical guidance and support to development and QA teams throughout the software lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes and GCP services (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Run, GKE).
• Proven experience with Elasticsearch, Kibana, Prometheus, New Relic and MongoDB.
• Excellent problem‑solving, troubleshooting and communication skills.
