DevOps Engineer

About the role

Sastaticket.pk, a fast‑growing online travel agency serving millions across Pakistan, is looking for a DevOps Engineer to scale and operate its AWS‑based, Kubernetes‑driven platform. You will own critical production systems that power flight search, bookings, payments, loyalty programs and third‑party airline integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage AWS infrastructure (EKS, EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, CloudFront, ALB/NLB) supporting high‑traffic OTA workloads.
• Operate and troubleshoot production Kubernetes (EKS) clusters, ensuring high availability, scalability and low latency.
• Build, maintain and optimise CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions for frontend, backend and mobile services.
• Automate infrastructure and platform workflows using Terraform.
• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog) and conduct root‑cause analysis for incidents.
• Design and troubleshoot AWS networking (VPCs, subnets, routing, NAT, security groups, NACLs) and manage load balancers, DNS, TLS and API security.
• Collaborate with Backend, Mobile, QA, Product and Security teams and document operational processes.

Required profile

• 2+ years of hands‑on experience as a DevOps, Cloud or Platform Engineer.
• Strong background operating production Kubernetes (EKS) on AWS.
• Proven ability to design, implement and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure.
• Excellent troubleshooting and incident‑handling skills.
