DevOps Engineer

About the role

RocketDevs is looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join its remote network. You will be matched with client projects where you own deployment, automation, monitoring, and reliability of production systems that serve global users.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud‑native infrastructure on AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins or CircleCI.
• Deploy, scale, and operate Kubernetes clusters serving high‑traffic applications.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Pulumi or CloudFormation.
• Set up monitoring and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK).
• Optimize cloud costs, ensure security best practices, and handle backup & disaster recovery.
• Collaborate with development teams using Git/GitHub workflows and automate tasks with Bash, Python or Go.

Required profile

• Strong Linux command‑line proficiency.
• Hands‑on experience with at least one major cloud platform.
• Proven work with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience building production CI/CD pipelines.
• Infrastructure‑as‑code expertise.
• Solid networking fundamentals (DNS, load balancing, SSL/TLS, reverse proxies).
• Ability to present a real‑world production architecture diagram.
