DevOps Engineer – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join RocketDevs’ remote network and work on client projects that require scalable, secure, and reliable cloud‑native infrastructure. You will be matched with international customers and take ownership of deployment, automation, monitoring and reliability of production systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins or CircleCI.
• Deploy and operate containerised workloads on Kubernetes clusters at scale.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Pulumi or CloudFormation.
• Set up monitoring, alerting and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK).
• Manage cloud resources on AWS, GCP or Azure, including networking, DNS, load balancing and SSL/TLS.
• Automate operational tasks with Bash, Python or Go scripts.
• Ensure system reliability, backup, disaster recovery and security best practices.

Required profile

• Strong Linux command‑line proficiency.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure).
• Solid background in Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proven ability to build and maintain production CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK).
• Good understanding of networking, DNS, load balancing and SSL/TLS.
• Ability to share a real‑world production architecture diagram that demonstrates scale and impact.
