DevOps & Site Reliability Engineer (GCP)

About the role

As a DevOps & Site Reliability Engineer you will design, build and operate the cloud infrastructure that runs our applications on Google Cloud Platform. You will ensure the environment is reliable, observable and secure, and you will act as the primary owner of production health.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage GCP infrastructure, including container orchestration with Docker.
• Develop and maintain CI‑CD pipelines using GitHub and Google Cloud Run to automate testing, building and deployment.
• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting with Elasticsearch, Kibana, Prometheus and New Relic; create dashboards and actionable alerts.
• Define and own service‑level objectives, lead incident response, act as incident commander and run blameless post‑mortems.
• Participate in on‑call rotation and continuously reduce MTTR through automation.
• Administer MongoDB clusters, implement backup, recovery and disaster‑recovery strategies.
• Apply security best practices and ensure compliance with internal and industry standards.
• Automate provisioning and configuration using GCP services and custom scripts.
• Collaborate with development, QA and IT teams to support the software development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in DevOps, SRE or cloud engineering.
• Strong production instincts and ability to work independently in a fast‑moving environment.
