DevSecOps Engineer

About the role

PureLogics is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to lead a team of six professionals in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of DevSecOps engineers, promoting best security practices.
• Design, deploy, and manage secure cloud infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Integrate security tools and controls into CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, vulnerability assessments, and ethical hacking.
• Develop and enforce container security strategies for Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift environments.
• Conduct penetration testing, threat modeling, and security audits using tools like Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap, and Kali Linux.
• Monitor security alerts, perform risk assessments, and respond to incidents using SIEM solutions such as Splunk, ELK, or AWS Security Hub.
• Ensure compliance with frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, SOC 2) and maintain documentation for audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related field.
• Experience leading security teams and implementing security controls in cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of security compliance frameworks and incident response processes.
