Digital Marketing Account Manager

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Account Manager to manage a portfolio of local business clients and help them improve their online visibility and performance. In this role, you’ll be responsible for building strong client relationships, managing and optimizing Google Business Profiles, monitoring local SEO performance, reviewing analytics, and turning data into clear recommendations. You’ll also use AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT to streamline research and content creation while applying your own judgment to ensure the final work is accurate, useful, and aligned with each client’s brand.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of local business clients, maintaining strong relationships through proactive communication.
• Manage and optimize Google Business Profiles, monitor local search rankings, and implement on‑page and off‑page SEO strategies tailored to local markets.
• Use Google Search Console and Google Analytics to monitor performance, interpret data, and prepare clear, actionable reports for non‑technical clients.
• Leverage Claude and ChatGPT to support content creation, research, and day‑to‑day deliverables, ensuring AI‑generated output meets quality and brand standards.
• Identify performance dips or issues early, coordinate with internal teams for resolution, and communicate proactively with clients.
• Spot growth and upsell opportunities, recommending additional services such as Google Ads when appropriate.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, account management, or a related role.
• Proven experience working with local or small‑to‑medium‑sized businesses.
• Ability to interpret marketing data and explain findings to non‑technical clients.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple client accounts independently.
• Availability to work full‑time during U.S. Mountain Time hours.
