Digital Marketing & Creative Design Trainee

About the role

Fortek is looking for a creative, motivated fresh graduate to join its Digital Marketing and Creative Design team in Islamabad. The role suits someone with basic knowledge of digital marketing, graphic design and Adobe tools who wants to build skills through hands-on projects under the guidance of experienced team members. The position sits in the Sales & Marketing department, reporting to the line manager.

Key responsibilities

• Digital marketing: help plan and run campaigns, social media calendars, lead generation and email marketing, and support basic SEO and keyword research
• Social media management: create and schedule posts, write captions, research hashtags and trends, and support video/reel content
• Graphic design: design social media posts, banners, ads, brochures, flyers, posters and presentations, following brand guidelines
• Adobe tools: edit photos and vectors in Photoshop and Illustrator; InDesign knowledge is an advantage
• Canva: create posts, presentations and branded materials using templates
• UI/UX and Figma: basic understanding of layouts, wireframes and prototypes
• Presentation: create and improve corporate and project slides in PowerPoint
• Reporting: log daily content, track campaign status weekly, and compile a monthly digital marketing report

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as computer science, graphic design, digital marketing, media studies or business administration
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of relevant internship, freelance, university or personal projects
• Strong written English and Urdu
• Willingness to learn and to improve quickly

Required skills

• Digital marketing, social media marketing and content creation
• Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva and Figma; basic video editing with CapCut/Premiere Pro is a plus
• Basic SEO, Meta Ads and marketing concepts
• Knowledge of social media platforms and content scheduling tools is a plus
