Digital Marketing & SEO Executive

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Digital Marketing & SEO Executive to drive the online growth of Mera Peshawar, an AI-powered local news platform. The role will combine paid media management with SEO tactics to increase audience reach and engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, launch and optimise Meta (Facebook & Instagram) advertising campaigns.
• Manage TikTok advertising to boost reach, engagement and follower growth.
• Create and optimise Google Ads campaigns, including Search, Display, YouTube and Performance Max.
• Monitor performance, conduct A/B testing and manage advertising budgets for optimal ROI.
• Develop and execute on-page and off-page SEO strategies, conduct keyword research and improve site indexing.
• Build quality backlinks and monitor keyword rankings and organic traffic growth.
• Increase organic, referral and direct website traffic and improve user engagement metrics.
• Collaborate with the editorial team to maximise content reach.
• Track results using GA4, Google Search Console, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager and Google Ads dashboards.
• Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports with actionable insights.
• Stay up-to-date with digital marketing, SEO and social media trends and propose new growth initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in digital marketing and SEO.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to interpret performance data.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work with editorial staff.
