Digital PR (Press Release) Intern

About the role

Rankviz is looking for a dynamic and creative Digital PR intern to join its growing team. The role suits someone passionate about storytelling, building strong media relationships and turning global trends into impactful campaigns. It is a full-time, onsite morning-shift position at College Road, Township, open to mass communication graduates.

Key responsibilities

• Research global and local news to craft unique, newsworthy content angles.
• Conduct outreach to journalists, bloggers and media outlets to secure media placements and high-quality backlinks.
• Build and maintain a database of media contacts and nurture long-term relationships.
• Monitor industry trends, competitors and PR opportunities to enhance brand visibility.
• Track and report campaign performance, analysing results to optimise future strategies.
• Collaborate with the content and SEO team to create PR-friendly stories and digital campaigns.
• Stay updated on the latest digital PR and media outreach trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism or a related field; the degree requirement may be waived if other criteria are met.
• Prior experience as a researcher and news writer for a news channel; experience with international/global news platforms is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in English writing and comprehension.
• Ability to analyse, research and present news stories accurately and clearly.
