Director Business Unit

About the role

Martin Dow Limited is looking for an experienced, commercially driven Director Business Unit to lead the Neuropsychiatry, General Medicine, and Gastroenterology portfolios. The role will shape strategy, drive commercial excellence, and ensure sustainable growth and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business strategies that deliver growth, profitability and market leadership.
• Lead Sales and Marketing teams while collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders to meet strategic objectives.
• Own the Business Unit P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, pricing and financial performance management.
• Drive portfolio strategy, lifecycle management and successful product launches aligned with market opportunities.
• Analyse market trends, customer insights and competitive intelligence to identify growth opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, healthcare professionals and external stakeholders.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and support timely product registrations and approvals.
• Develop, mentor and inspire high‑performing teams, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.

Required profile

• PharmD or MBBS, MBA preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven track record in business leadership, commercial strategy, portfolio management and P&L ownership.
• Strong understanding of Pakistan’s pharmaceutical market and healthcare landscape.
• Excellent leadership, strategic planning, financial acumen and stakeholder management skills.
