Director, Commercial Experience Architecture & Engineering

About the role

The Director of Commercial Experience Architecture & Engineering will lead the strategy, design, and delivery of Salesforce Sales Cloud capabilities across the enterprise. This senior position works closely with Commercial Technology, Finance Technology, and Data teams to build a unified, data‑driven commercial engine that accelerates revenue growth and improves seller productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Define scalable Sales Cloud design standards, global templates, and architecture guidelines.
• Lead initiatives for pipeline management, forecasting, territory management, and automation.
• Standardize opportunity lifecycle processes and optimize core Sales Cloud workflows to shorten sales cycles.
• Drive AI‑powered lead scoring, next‑best‑action recommendations, and workflow automation to boost win rates.
• Improve data quality, integration patterns, and data governance to ensure accurate forecasting and commercial predictability.
• Establish compliant, reusable architecture that guarantees security and scalability for multi‑org environments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience managing Salesforce platforms, preferably in large, complex organizations (5,000+ users).
• Proven track record establishing enterprise governance frameworks, portfolio oversight, KPI definition, and ROI measurement.
• Strong ability to work in matrixed organizations and influence cross‑functional stakeholders.
