Director of Procurement

About the role

Riphah is looking for an accomplished procurement leader to head enterprise‑wide procurement and supply‑chain operations across its healthcare, education, construction, technology and corporate businesses. This senior position will drive strategic sourcing, cost optimisation and digital transformation for one of Pakistan’s largest education‑healthcare projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise‑wide procurement strategies aligned with organisational goals.
• Lead procurement activities for educational campuses, hospital construction, medical equipment and operational services.
• Establish robust governance and compliance frameworks for all sourcing activities.
• Drive cost optimisation, operational efficiency and value‑chain enhancement.
• Build and maintain strategic supplier partnerships.
• Lead digital procurement and supply‑chain transformation initiatives, including AI‑driven solutions.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance or a related discipline.
• Professional certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, ISM or CSCP (advantageous).
• Minimum 15 years of progressive procurement experience, including at least 7 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven experience in education, healthcare, large infrastructure projects or multinational organisations.
