Divisional Head of Sustainability – Risk Management

About the role

The Divisional Head of Sustainability will lead the Risk Management Group in developing and implementing comprehensive sustainability frameworks, strategies, and products aligned with global standards and the bank's strategic vision.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, strengthen and implement sustainability frameworks, roadmaps, policies, products and targets.
• Provide ESG risk assessment for credit proposals and the bank's credit portfolio.
• Ensure sustainability reporting and disclosures meet national and international standards.
• Support acquisition of memberships, accreditations and partnerships with relevant institutions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to embed ESG practices across the bank.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of experience in sustainability, ESG risk assessment or related fields.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking and multi‑tasking abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and make informed decisions.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of IFRS S1 & S2, SASB, GRI, TCFD, TNFD and global green taxonomies.
• Familiarity with local ESG regulations (Ministry of Climate Change, provincial governments, SBP, SECP, etc.).
• Expertise in green financing, green bonds, social impact bonds and sustainable equity strategies.
• Understanding of sustainability accounting methodologies and reporting standards.
