Draftsman – Quantity Control Drawings

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Draftsman who specializes in quantity control drawings to support our construction projects. The role involves producing precise technical drawings, collaborating with engineers and project managers, and ensuring all documentation meets company and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed construction drawings focused on quantity control.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to gather requirements and clarify scope.
• Revise and update drawings based on feedback and project changes.
• Use CAD software to create and modify design layouts.
• Ensure drawings comply with company standards and local regulations.
• Maintain organized records of drafts and revisions.
• Coordinate with procurement to align designs with material specifications.
• Assist in preparing quantity take‑offs and cost estimates.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of drafting experience, specifically with quantity control drawings.
• Proven ability to interpret engineering and architectural sketches.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and local building codes.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD).
