Editor & Videographer

About the role

The Editor & Videographer will lead end‑to‑end production of academic, instructional and promotional video content for LUMSx, ensuring high‑quality visual storytelling that aligns with pedagogical goals and brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Film and edit course lectures, testimonials, event highlights, interviews and social‑media reels.
• Support studio and on‑location shoots, including multi‑camera, green‑screen and lighting setups.
• Capture photography and video coverage of faculty sessions and LUMSx events.
• Perform post‑production tasks such as color correction, sound enhancement, motion graphics and visual effects.
• Maintain media assets, project files and production archives for easy retrieval.
• Collaborate with instructional designers, faculty and marketing teams to meet production requirements.
• Operate and maintain cameras, lighting, audio equipment and explore emerging production tools.
• Travel for off‑campus shoots as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in media production, film, photography or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of hands‑on video production experience.
• Creativity, collaboration, attention to detail, adaptability and a proactive learning attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite – Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, Audition.
• Experience using DaVinci Resolve for advanced editing and color grading.
• Strong video editing, sequencing and post‑production workflow skills.
• Color grading, audio editing and sound design capabilities.
• Motion graphics and visual effects development.
• Effective operation of DSLR/mirrorless cameras and lighting rigs.
• Audio recording using lavalier and boom microphones.
