Education Counsellor

About the role

Oceania Education and Visa Services (OEVS), an overseas education and migration consultancy representing more than 25 Australian universities and TAFEs, is looking for an experienced and motivated Education Counsellor to join its Karachi team. You will guide students in choosing study destinations, manage their applications and help meet enrolment targets through active counselling, timely follow-ups, strong institutional relationships and outreach and marketing.

Key responsibilities

• Offer accurate and ethical counselling on international study options.
• Manage full admission processes, including course selection, documentation, GTE preparation and visa applications.
• Follow up with prospective students regularly by call and email.
• Keep student records updated in the CRM system.
• Work with partner institutions and internal teams to ensure smooth admissions.
• Represent OEVS at webinars, education fairs and school visits.
• Support pre-departure and post-arrival student sessions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Education, Business or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in education counselling or student recruitment.
• Knowledge of the Australian education and visa systems is essential.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
