Educational Counsellor - Study Abroad Guidance

About the role

A professional law firm in Faisalabad, Pakistan, which also provides study abroad guidance to students, is looking for a motivated, target-driven educational counsellor. The counsellor helps clients choose the right country, university and programme and converts enquiries into confirmed enrolments. The position is full-time and onsite.

Key responsibilities

• Counsel students on study abroad destinations, universities, programmes, admission requirements and career pathways.
• Assess each client's academic background, interests and goals and recommend suitable options.
• Turn leads into enrolments by presenting services, explaining packages and fees, handling objections and closing students.
• Generate and manage leads through walk-ins, phone calls, WhatsApp, email and social media enquiries.
• Follow up consistently with prospective students through the full sales cycle, from first inquiry to file opening and payment.
• Guide applicants through university applications, documentation, offer letters and deadlines.
• Provide basic guidance on visa requirements and study permit procedures, in coordination with the legal team.
• Maintain accurate client records, lead tracking and sales reports.
• Stay updated on admission policies, scholarships, intakes and immigration trends in popular study destinations.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth, transparent client service and achieve monthly counselling, conversion and enrolment targets.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor's degree in any relevant field.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Urdu.
• Strong sales, negotiation and closing skills with a results-driven mindset.
• Strong interpersonal and persuasion skills.
• Professional attitude, honesty and a client-friendly approach.
• Ability to work onsite on a full-time schedule.

Required skills

• Basic computer skills (MS Office, email, social media communication).
