Education Counselor

About the role

Sky One – Education Consultants is seeking a full‑time Education Counselor to work on‑site in the Karachi Division. You will guide students through every step of their study‑abroad journey, from initial assessment to pre‑departure preparation, ensuring a personalized and supportive experience.

Key responsibilities

• Meet with students to evaluate academic background, interests, and career goals.
• Advise on suitable countries, universities, and programs based on individual profiles.
• Guide students through application requirements, documentation, and timelines.
• Provide information on scholarships, financial planning, and visa procedures.
• Conduct follow‑up sessions to address questions and concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of student interactions and progress.
• Deliver presentations or information sessions for groups of students.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a high‑quality, student‑centered service.

Required profile

• Strong counseling and education‑related skills for guiding learners on academic pathways.
• Proficiency in career counseling to align study choices with professional goals.
• Excellent communication, active listening, and presentation abilities.
• Customer‑service orientation with empathy, patience, and responsiveness.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Business, or a related field; advanced qualifications are a plus.
• Preferred experience in student advising, international education consulting, or admissions.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an office environment using standard office and communication software.
