About the role

Riphah International University is seeking a dedicated Lab Engineer to support its Electrical and Computer Engineering programs. The role focuses on maintaining, calibrating, and operating laboratory equipment to ensure a high‑quality learning and research environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and calibrate electrical and electronic test equipment.
• Set up laboratory experiments and embedded‑systems projects for courses and research.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and embedded‑system issues.
• Manage inventory and procurement of laboratory tools and testing equipment.
• Collaborate with faculty to design experiments aligned with curriculum and research needs.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards for electrical and electronic equipment.
• Document experiments, equipment maintenance, and calibration activities.
• Provide technical support and guidance to students and researchers.
• Implement and update measurement techniques to reflect current engineering practices.
• Assess laboratory tools and recommend improvements or upgrades.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering from an HEC‑recognized institute.
• Valid PEC registration.
• Strong hands‑on experience with electrical and electronic equipment and laboratory tools.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on precision and safety.
