Electrical Maintenance Officer

About the role

The Electrical Maintenance Officer is responsible for keeping pharma machines and related equipment in optimal running condition, adhering to engineering, GMP and EHS standards. The role supports production operations in both blister and solid manufacturing areas.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and follow procedures for maintenance of automation and control systems in blister and solid manufacturing.
• Maintain compliance with the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and ensure timely execution of preventive‑maintenance plans.
• Replace or adjust small machine parts such as sensors, valves and controllers during maintenance activities.
• Supervise electrical complaints, support maintenance engineers, and assist with new machine installations, commissioning and training.
• Contribute to OEE program awareness, data gathering and suggest upgrades for machine performance.
• Participate in IQ/OQ activities with engineers and maintain daily maintenance logbooks.
• Provide on‑the‑job training to junior staff and attend authorized trainings.

Required profile

• DAE/B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics or B.S./B.E. in a related field.
• 3–6 years of engineering experience in a pharma or FMCG environment.
• Knowledge of GMP, EHS, documentation practices and data integrity.
• Strong teamwork abilities and physical/mental resilience for a challenging manufacturing setting.
